My very favorite treat is chocolate cream pie and I never buy one or make one because hubby doesn't care for it and I would have to eat the whole thing myself.  When I was in Vegas with our son we had it every night as it's his favorite pie too and I haven't had it since.

Today we went out to lunch and there was a triple item on the menu for half a sandwich of your choice, salad or soup and dessert of your choice.  I can never eat a whole one of their sandwiches anyway so it was a no brainer and I ordered my dessert to go.  I could hardly wait for tonight and it was so rich and soooo good.

Mmmmm!  Lemon meringue is my favorite, but pie in any form is alright by me...just in time for National Pi day too!

I want pie, but I have no time to bake one and since hubby is on the verge of being put on another medication, HE CAN'T HAVE ANY!  LOL

So, I made a nice bucket of beans for a chilly day and looked at lots of pie photos online, LOL.  I did make one a couple years ago, even put the appropriate symbol on it.
