...people didn't realize they needed to adjust their Deductions based on the revised (lowered) Tax Tables. They also didn't
    realize the Refunds are lower due to the money being given in increased take-home pay throughout the year.   (DUH!!!)

And yes, many of the tax experts are saying the difference is because people failed to check their withholding.

Take home was higher, but then you have to pay it back.  NOT a deal to me. 

How do you "check" your withholding, when we didn't have access to the new tax rates?
If HR can't figure it out, how am I supposed to?

So what the right wingers here are saying is there is no tax cut for the middle class, but a huuuuuuuuuge tax cut for the wealthiest 2% of the nation. I guess it is good they are finally coming to the realization they are being screwed, just like most of us have known since the bill was introduced, passed and signed.
