Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

I trust your opinions so here's the place

Steve's Blinds & Wallpaper

and I'm looking for tan, lite brown, gold wallpaper for the entry... for a traditional style older house.

I don't like print much but love stripes but it has to go with a tiny dramatic power room that is tan and bronze plated faucets and stuff... and oh the entry wall paper and powder wallpaper have to compliment each other...

I guess you can post what you find here... and don't forget, I'm el'cheapo...lol

Oh!  Good Morning!

I think a small spark of color would complement wonderfully, but then again, I am all about color...

I liked these ones...

There are a lot of sites as well.  I've ordered from American wallpaper in the past...I think a lot of them are offering free shipping and stuff right now.  As I was perusing the Steve's a coupon for 15% off kept popping up...

I like the seventh one down in the list that takn provided.  You don't want to have too dark an entry way and it is light, stripes that you like luv and clean looking.

Hmmm  None of that is what I would do. I'd be painting. You can put this slightly glittery stuff in the paint now and actually looks  nice.

Are you ready to gag....lol

These are my choices...

First this one is for the entry...

http://www.stevesblindsandwallpaper.com/Wallpaper/ProductDetailPricing.aspx?pn=X8KGRSWS&ctg=681

And I know it's dark but the assesories needed to be the focal point.. and the art... remember the goodwill frames...well...and the antiques... this is the first impression one will get if not invited in... I thought at first flowers but I also thought seasons change...when I think of the rug in the entry I want to change my mind but it matches somewhat to the wallpaper... yikes you say...lol

Now the Kitchen... all black and stainless steel appliances... and the cupboards are natural wood.. no stain just a clear varnish... floors are almost the same color of the cupboard or cabinets with a touch of brown/gold blacksplash... and the wallpaper is yellow...lol because history tells us kitchen are suppose to be yellow... remember I love stripes... black and yellow kinda go good together also...

Now the the big shock... sit down for this one cause you're going to scream...lol and I promise it will be alright....

http://www.stevesblindsandwallpaper.com/Wallpaper/ProductDetailPricing.aspx?pn=X01H78H&ctg=1921

First, there is a window that gives off daylight in this powder room... it's so small and is meant to just look at unless you have to go bad...white mini sink, toilet, as white racks... with bronze fixtures...I do believe the curtains will be sheer white puff puff... haven't got them yet but I see them in my mind...and the door handles, toilet holder are the matched set I told you all about I got a Walmart, a steal... wood like...

Ok.. the cat is out of the bag... I've lost it...

taste that is...lol

Oh well, the next owner will have to worry about removing the wallpaper... I honestly like it...I really do....

Well it's dark these nights and I'm still trying to work like I'm 4 people and can't do one...it's all going to end soon... and I don't mean death... I mean no more home improvements and just a vacation away from it all...everything...

that I promise...

As long as you're happy with it Luv that's all that matters.  You certainly did well on the price and you will have to post some pictures of the finished effect so we can all see.

Yes, please post pictures because it's very hard to imagine it.  I like the pallate, I just wonder, are the rooms large enough to not be overpowered by such a strong statement?  I love the blackish paisley, but I would probably only use it on one accent wall...

Takn.... all the walls are 12 ft high... rooms sizes are average except for the living room... it's hugh... and the entry is also...it goes on and on and on...... so it's going to be interesting even to me to see that wallpaper overwhelming the entry and upper hall.

Emily... and Takn... I will post pics after it's all done... including the garden... I'll have to learn how to use photobucket so I can do that...

When I can really sit down and learn how... it will be a little bit more fun to let you see all that I'm talking about...

also I'd like to share some of my trips to PA truly breathtaking adventures everytime I go... sometimes I think I would have loved to live there but the houses aren't that good looking but the scenic view are spectacular...

It's early Thursday morning and it's going to rain most of the day here... so paperwork is on the list of things to do... something I truly hate doing...

For some reason, the monthly bills have increased by a dollar here, dollar there and changing payments on the computer is easy but trying to live with the balance left over is hard...

Oh! Sun... saw a water fountain here I think I can afford but I'll have to wait until the first of the month... it's on sale for a unbelievable price I just hope no one gets it in the next two weeks... it comes with a pump and everything...I should go get it now but I've got to do other things with the small change I have leftover...

When I got home from looking at the water fountain... I thought where could I put it... well the pear tree didn 't make it... and it can go in that spot...thank bigum...

Oh!  Good Morning!

blackish paisley print is way to dark for a small room, like Takn said, I would use on one wall, then a matching tan paint on the rest of the walls.  As for the curtains, I would go with a sheer tan valance.  I'm not a wallpaper person, but if the palate flows from one room to the next, it will look great.  What color have you chosen for the trim work?  White or off white is going to be to jarring, or is your trim all wood?   I like the third one down on you selection, but remember walls may not be straight  and with high ceilings, crooked stripes will be very notecable, so  you should use plum lines  to hang the paper straight.   Have you thought about making a 8 ft faux wall and have the upper portion with just paint?  Just plum across wall and then put in a chair rail.  Paint upper portion and paper below, then paint the chair rail same color and install over the pthe paper edge..  Lowers the effect of the walls and will save you money.  i'll see if I can find a photo.

remember, verticals will make yourceiling look higher yet.  here is what I was trying to say.  Imagine the lower part in your wall paper.

The photo explaination
Another solution— Ceiling height can be visually lowered by applying a molding on the wall below the ceiling. A rule of thumb is to place the molding at about the nine-foot level. The wall above this detail is then painted the color of the ceiling, thus lowering its perceived height. This can even be done on the gable end of a vaulted room.
