I consider gang crime to be terrorist acts, the majority of which are not white supremacists!

doesn't matter what you consider terrorist crime.

Violent extremism is generally defined as supporting or committing violent acts to achieve political, ideological, religious or social goals, said an April 2017 report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office.

Perpetrators of violent extremism include white supremacists; anti-government groups; groups with extreme views on abortion, animal rights, the environment or federal ownership of public lands; and radical Islamist entities, such as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

The 9/11 terrorist attacks resulted in the largest number of deaths in the United States caused by violent extremism, the GAO report said. About 3,000 people were killed in the attacks.

Since then — from Sept. 12, 2001, to Dec. 31, 2016  — there have been 85 attacks in the country by violent extremists resulting in 225 deaths. GAO reported citing data from the U.S. Extremist Crime Database.

Of those 225 deaths:

• 106 individuals were killed by far-right violent extremists in 62 separate incidents;

• 119 individuals were killed by radical Islamist violent extremists in 23 separate incidents;

• The number of people killed in a given year ranged from one to 49.

GAO noted that 41 percent of the deaths caused by a radical Islamist during the reviewed period happened in one incident: the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting. In June 2016, Omar Mateen, born in the United States to Afghan parents, killed 49 people at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.  (if you add the 59 shot to death in Las Vegas in October, 2017, then you get 165 killed by white extremists, and 111 killed by radical Islamic extremists)

Press stories, as well as a television documentary, over the past two months have detailed the growing cooperation between South American
drug traffickers and Middle Eastern terrorists, proving that the United States continues to ignore the mounting terrorist threat in its own
“backyard” of Latin America at its own peril. A greater portion of financing for Middle Eastern terrorist groups, including Hezbollah and
Al Qaeda, is coming from Latin America, while they are also setting up training camps and recruiting centers throughout our continent,
endangering American lives and interests globally. Some Latin American countries that were traditional allies for the U.S. (including Venezuela)
have now forged significant political and economic alliances with regimes whose interests are at odds with those of the U.S., particularly China,
Russia and Iran. In fact Iran and Iran’s Lebanese asset, “the Party of God,” Hezbollah, have now become the main terror sponsors in the region
and are increasingly funded by South American cocaine.

Venezuela and Iran are strong allies: Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad publicly call each other
“brothers,” and last year signed 11 memoranda of understanding for, among other initiatives, joint oil and gas exploration, as well as the
construction of tanker ships and petrochemical plants. Chávez’s assistance to the Islamic Republic in circumventing U.N. sanctions has got
the attention of the new Republican leadership of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, resulting in the May 23rd, 2011 announcement by the
US State Department that it was imposing sanctions on the Venezuelan government-owned oil company Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) as a punishment
for circumventing UN sanctions against Iran and assisting in the development of the Iran’s nuclear program.

Besides its sponsored terrorist groups, Iran also has a growing direct influence in Latin America, spurred by three principal motivations:
1) a quest for uranium,
2) a quest for gasoline,
3) a quest for a base of operations that is close to the US territory, in order to position itself to resist diplomatic and possible military pressure,
possibly by setting up a missile base within striking distance of the mainland US, as the Soviets did in the Cuban Missile Crisis. FARC, Hezbollah and
Al Qaeda all have training camps, recruiting bases and networks of mutual assistance in Venezuela as well as throughout the continent.

I have long argued that Latin America is an increasing source of funding for Middle Eastern terrorism and to overlook the political changes and security
threats in the region with such geographic proximity to the US and its greatest source of immigrants is a huge strategic mistake. It was inevitable that
South American cocaine traffickers and narcoterrorists would become of increasing importance to Hezbollah and other groups. While intelligence officials
believe that Hezbollah used to receive as much as $200 million annually from its primary patron, Iran, and additional money from Syria, both these sources
have largely dried up due to the onerous sanctions imposed on the former and the turmoil in the latter.

An indictment was handed down Aug. 30 by the Southern District Court of New York that shows a connection between Hezbollah - the proxy army of Iran
and a designated terrorist organization - and the drug cartels that violently plague the U.S.-Mexico border.

In short, a well-known international arms dealer was trying to orchestrate an arms-for-drugs deal in which cocaine from FARC - the Revolutionary Armed
Forces of Colombia, which works with Mexican drug cartels to take cocaine into America - would be traded for thousands of weapons housed by a Hezbollah
operative in Mexico.

This most recent case brings up several questions:

Why would a member of Hezbollah be in Mexico?
Why would Hezbollah need thousands of weapons in Mexico?
Why are members of Hezbollah willing to work with FARC?
Perhaps to exchange weapons for drugs?
If Hezbollah has guns in Mexico and wants drugs, isn't it logical to assume that it is trading with more accessible Mexican drug cartels?

This is just the most recent incident in which it's clear that Hezbollah may have a presence in Mexico and along our southern border. There have
been more incidents - which have been ignored by the Obama administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

On June 23, I sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano asking her to establish a task force to investigate the presence of
Hezbollah along the U.S.-Mexico border.

The evidence is there:

Hezbollah's cooperation with countries across South America.

Highly sophisticated tunnels for transferring drugs across the U.S.-Mexico border, ones very similar to the tunnels dug by Hezbollah into Israel.

The close relationship between Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and the increase in Iranian nationals
traveling through Venezuela to receive false documents, which they use to cross into the United States.

Mexican officials raising concerns about Hezbollah operatives possibly training Mexican drug cartel enforcers in making car bombs.

A former director of Venezuela’s Office of Identification, Migration and Foreigners said that during his 17 months in the post, the socialist government
gave at least 10,000 Venezuelan passports and other documents to citizens of Syria, Iran and other Middle Eastern countries.

In an interview with El Nuevo Herald, Colonel Vladimir Medrano Rengifo said the operation was headed by current Vice President Tareck El Aissami.

He said most passports and visas were granted in the Venezuelan Consulate in Damascus, Syria’s capital.

"Today we don’t know where these people are, nor what they are doing,” said Medrano, who currently resides in the United States.

December 13, 2011 "The Heritage Foundation" -- December 09, 2011 --  Iran is conducting anti-U.S. operations from Latin America, including military
training camps in Venezuela, and expanding its reach across the border from the U.S. in Mexico, according to footage unveiled late Thursday by the
largest Spanish-language network in the United States, Univision.

The documentary showed a former Iran senior official accepting a plan to launch from Mexico a cyber war on the United States, one that would cripple
U.S. computer systems, including the White House, the FBI, the CIA and several nuclear plants. The official, former Iranian Ambassador to Mexico Mohammad
Hassan Ghadiri, was shown accepting the offer from undercover Mexican university students. A trailer to the documentary can be seen here.

The documentary also showed the undercover Mexican students presenting plans for the cyber attack to Venezuelan officials in Mexico. The Venezuelan official
was very receptive to the plot, saying that she was close to Venezuela’s hard-leftist President Hugo Chavez and that she would love to share the information
with him as soon as possible. The same happened with Cuban officials in Mexico, who were equally interested in a plot against the United States.

The students in the documentary appeared to have conducted a sting operation similar to the reports carried out by the American journalist James O’Keefe in
the U.S.

The documentary, called “The Iranian Threat,” said that undercover journalists were also able to infiltrate Iranian military training camps working from
mosques in Venezuela, though it showed no actual footage of the camps. Univision alleged there were links between the alleged camps and a radical Muslim
implicated in the 1994 Buenos Aires bombing of a Synagogue that killed 85 and wounded hundreds. The Iranian lives in Argentina, a country which also has
strong ties to Chavez.

Ties between the hard line Islamist government in Tehran and the anti-American government of President Hugo Chavez have been growing for years, including
a weekly secretive Cairo-Tehran flight that is of grave concerns to U.S. officials.

Undercover journalists also confirmed Iranian-backed money-laundry and drug-trafficking cartels that are used to back Islamist networks and training camps
in Venezuela and elsewhere, which exist to attack U.S. interests and undermine the U.S. in Latin America.

Yes, Foreign-Born Immigrants Have Committed Terrorism

Among such individuals: the Tsarnaev brothers of the Boston Marathon bombing, who were both born abroad. Tamerlan was born in Kyrgyzstan in 1986, and Dzhokhar was reportedly born in Dagestan.

The 2015 Chattanooga Recruiting Center shooter, Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez, was born in Kuwait and lived in Jordan before migrating to the United States at the age of six. He killed five people.

Ohio State University attacker Abdul Razak Artan, who ran over several fellow students with a car before attacking them with a butcher knife, was a refugee born in Somalia who had only been in the United States for two years.

Ahmad Khan Rahimi, born in Afghanistan, detonated a bomb near a 5K run event, then another in downtown Manhattan in October of last year.

Dahir Adan, a Somali born in Kenya who immigrated to the United States as a child, launched a mass stabbing attack at a St. Cloud Minnesota mall in 2016. And these are only a few recent examples.

to dimwitted DVD-

all those references to venezeulan terrorism and other bullshit allegations you wasted 3 posts on are all cross-tied and connected.  the main source was fpri, a right wing think tank started in 1955 by a warmongering asshole that ended up being Goldwater's FOREIGN POLICY ADVISER- In 1955, Strausz-Hupé founded the FPRI, and began to take on a more activist political role in the 1960's. He was Barry Goldwater's foreign policy advisor in his unsuccessful run for the presidency in 1964.  Taking this loon's advice, apparently led Goldwater to say we needed to take the fight to North Vietnam, including the use of nukes if necessary...He also advocated leaving the UN, in 1964, when the combined might of the Soviet Union and China nearly matched ours, and when the UN gave this country and our allies more leverage to stop the Russians and Chinese from instigating turmoil and revolution across the world.  You also used consistently right wing and dubious factual sources like the Heritage Foundation and the more honest but totally right wing National Review as your source for some of that crazy bullshit.

where are examples of any actual crimes in this country due to any of that shit you spewed?

AND THE CHERRY PICKING OF JUST MUSLIM TERRORISTS WHEN SO MANY MORE DOMESTIC ATTACKS HAVE BEEN BY WHITE SUPREMACISTS AND FAKE CHRISTIAN GUN NUTS AND THE LIKE LIKE TIM MCVEIGH AND WACO AND ABORTION BOMBINGS AND SHOOTINGS, ETC.  SHOWS HOW DISHONEST YOU ARE.  those stats were covered fairly by me in a previous post using a real source.
