Day 5 in January and I think we only had 5 minutes of sunshine...on New Years day.

Incredible!

I stare outside and see brown, and mole hills, LOL.

We have had so many windstorms that we will need to spend a month just cleaning up all the downed trees and limbs.  Hubby said one tree took out a portion of our new walking bridge on our west trail.  Yikes!

These photos are all from last summer. Right now it bleh! And another rain shower came through but looks like we may get sun after all.

So great to see that beautiful color especially now when I look at what's outside.  Actually couldn't see much as it was thick fog when we left home this morning.  I had to exchange some things at Kohls and also had some gift cards.  The sales weren't that great so I came home with a few things but still have gift cards.  The fog lifted late morning but it is so dull and spitting with rain and tonight we have a high wind warning prediction.

Kohl's hasn't been that great here for me lately I used to love going there. I couldn't even find a coat the last week of December. It's still winter. The last thing I want now is a bathing suit. lol

That's just how I feel sun.  I wanted a coat too but the selection was sparse and I picked up a raincoat that was priced $90 on a rack with 35% off on it.  When I got to the counter the checker said the sign was wrong, so I said forget it, I don't want it that bad.  I went back to double check and I hadn't read the fine print.  The coats were 35% off if you opened a Kohls charge account, which I already have, so it was deceiving.  I got a couple of nice things but when I got home and tried on the black pants I had bought, the side seam had a split in it!

I alspo fopund the hard way that those coupons are not good on  name brands like Under Armor, Columbia, My Pillow, etc...
