Hubby brough home some more battery operated lights.  So, we added them to the doors.

The rain relented long enough for the parade, but started in heavy again when we parked for the meet and greet.  Still it didn't dampen the spirit and it certainly fills our hearts with pride and joy.

So much fun.

So pretty.  Love the fact that some towns have these Parades.  We have a small one, mostly centered around the fire engines.  I always hope they won't have an emergency and have to break free but so far it hasn't happened.

The fire department ladder truck started our parade for us.  Good thing the rain stopped as our host and grand marshall had his 66 caddie convertible in the lead position, LOL.

We were trying to get pictures of the truck in the reflection of the huge soap bubbles that the bubble-ator truck was spewing out, but they didn't come out very well.  The rain, indeed, made for great reflection in the dark.
