it is hard to prosecute a journalist for having any what is called classified info in their article, because the government classifies almost everything when it is not a threat to our security in any way.  as in the Pentagon Papers, that used what was called "classified  information" to show how devious the Vietnam War was, and how it was prosecuted, despite it not naming any names, exposing any covert agents, or giving up any details that could affect our security.  it was classified to protect the officials who made these awful decisions that caused so many unnecessary deaths. 

many cities in colonial days had bans about carrying guns in public.  and after more and more sophisticated deadly arms of war were developed, these new arms of war were also banned from private ownership, you clueless cretins.  from a long time ago.
