Oh my that is amazing - trapped by a big bank of snow.  We had some pretty big snow storms in England but never as much as that where we lived.  Oregon gets light snow some years down on the valley floors and then of course up in the coastal range and the Cascades you can rely on a good amount of snowfall, especially in the ski areas.

Woke up to 18 today...there was ice everywhere.....I don't mind if it is winter....but we were robbed of a whole month of Fall.
