I guess the stock market rally this week doesn't fit their liberal narrative.

Okay, here is one-  from obama's first day in office (actually, his 3rd, the first day there was a listing), to obama's last day in office (which is trump's first day- actually the 25th, the first day there was a listing)

8077.56 to 20068.51  an increase of 248%

trump's first day to today-

20068.51 to 24748.43 an increase of 19%

happy now?

I wonder what the market increase was from Mr. Obama's day, until the 2010 midterms when Republicans shellacked the Democrats and what it was from then?

you mean from the time obama and the democratic congress passed legislation that ended the Bush Recession in October of 2009 to when Trump took over?  what difference does that make, simpleton?  why not pick the middle 5 months of trump's first year compared to the middle 5 months of obama's? IN SHORT, USE THE WHOLE TIME IN OFFICE BY BOTH, DUMBASS.  IT IS EASIER AND FAIRER THAT WAY THAN CHERRY PICKING CERTAIN TIMES, FOOL.

Since the recession started in 2007, when Democrats controlled both the House and Senate--explain how the recession could be blamed on President Bush.

because congress cannot pass any laws without the president's okay, dumbass.  are you trying to ask stupid questions?  you know what caused the recession, more than anything else?  republicans in charge of both houses and the white house not regulating banks and financial institutions during the huge expansive housing boom of the early 2000's up until 2006, when the housing bubble burst, and all those mortgage bundling, default credit swaps, and other risky pyramid schemes using that mortgage money with a real value of about a 100 billion dollars turned into a paper value of a trillion, and when the housing bubble burst, the pyramid schemes burst, the banks started going under, the financial institutions started failing, all credit to all customers stopped, all construction stopped, people started losing their jobs to downsizing, and it all began because the repubs did NOT REGULATE BANKS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS LIKE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO.

here are the housing start numbers, in the hundreds of thousands, from 1994 to 2012...see if you can spot when the housing boom started and ended....see if janet reno or eric HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE SHIT THAT HAPPENED ALMOST ENTIRELY FROM 2002 TO MID 2006, WHEN BUSH AND THE REPUBS CONTROLLED EVERYTHING...DUMBASS...FROM THE CENSUS BUREAU...

1994   670
1995   667
1996   757
1997   804
1998   886
1999   880
2000   877
2001   908
2002   973
2003   1086 (+313)
2004   1203 (+117)
2005   1283 (+280) height of bubble
2006   1051 (-226) bubble bursts
2007   776 ( -275..democrats take over in january, housing boom dead, shit hitting fan, big time)
2008   485
2009   375
2010   323
2011   306
2012   367 (housing starts begin to rise)

There is no point in trying to talk sense to a filthy republican. After all, you're not the dumbfuck whisperer.

What do you call a democrat?  A filthy Republican who switched parties.

You're right, justin.  There's no point in even talking to them.
