Power outage

In total darkness and the power won't be restored until 11 a.m. when the electricity goes off here so does the gas heat so whatever

I was thinking that it could be worse I'm not in a fire or flood I'm just in a place where there's no lights and no heat and no transportation because everything I have is electric ran like the garage door opener..


It's times like this that you have to think is this the end or will the end look like this feel like this be like this where there are no lights no gas no water...

1 good thing I can say is that I'm here  and I survived it....

But wait a minute ....

I'm in Hellsville...

We may not get the utilities running again until later this evening I'm going to use whatever Hotwater I got left in the hot water tank and see if I can warm it up that way and then after that I'm going to probably leave and go to a shelter that takes dogs...

The VA clinic is walking distant but do they have a generator...

Seems the electrical plant caught on fire and so   there are a lot of people without utilities today and they said 11 I doubt it they're going to have it on by 11 it may take all day I called the VA and they're not taking people so guess what I'm going I'm going to Walmart later

my neighbors have generators and it's a good investment if you're in a place that has frequent outages.  You also need to have a couple of filled gas cans on hand in a safe place.  We have our motorhome generator so we move out there in a long power cut.

  First they told us it would be 11 I am now they're telling us 11:30 p.m. wow so that means that when the temperatures go down to 30 we won't have electricity at I would say I would use my electric blanket but there's no electricity I can't get into my garage so I could go someplace else and the VA said they're not taking people unless they have patients scheduled so it's about putting on another pair of socks putting on a hoodie and tough it out I do have a radio I did have a TV but it's not charged up that's one of the things got messed up in the air accident okay so I'll just go find me a hoodie or scarf and a couple pair of   sweats and just tough it out.
 oh I have a generator but it's out in the garage smart

Do you have candles? You could put your hands over them to warm up time to time. Hope it comes on soon for you.

45 inside 34 outside..

They say 1130pm   have to be here to make sure furnace and hot washer heater gets back up and running...

Listening to radio oldie but goodie and dancing to keep warm

Back in the old days this would be called a party..
