fires in California, the tornado in I forget...the last one.... remember....can't think any more....

I know where my focus is.... don't you?

last of the cool days... 40... setting up hangers in the garage so I can keep my rakes and other stuff out of the way....changing the light bulb in the garage door opener and setting up surveillance camera inside garage just in case some moron wants to enter....

The fires in California are tragic and in no way done.   When I see it all on the news I feel I can't complain about anything.  So sad for all the loss.

it's just so much happening in the world... can't keep up... and yes I am grateful...

it's just terrible or terror that's happening in the world today....

folks are saying we're in the last days and terror is going to consume...

what I won't forget is the terror of that tsunami in Japan....

It's so sad emily...if I only we could send our rain to those fires, I would happily take a drought. I just heard  50 dead.

Watching it all on the news and reading about it online is unbearable.  This is the worst ever.  I am so grateful our daughter and son in law sold their hillside home in August and moved down to the valley floor in a nice little town in a safer area.  Now another fire has erupted in Fontana.

I was reading about the burned animals...saw photos of a bunny and cat so burned but still alive...I had to walk away from the computer. So very sad.

looking at the weather on the way to Memphis and in Memphis... not going until I feel it will be safe... good thing I can go when I want to...and that's when it's safe to do so... got the car fixed but I don't really trust it like I trusted the van that got hit...

the highways are usually clear but you have to worry about the icy roads... Nashville is sounding like winter up north and I know it's busy traffic wise...by the time I go hope there's snow on the road....better than icy roads...

California sounds like a real nightmare... been watching continually...so many have lost their homes...insurance companies are probably sicker than the people who are burnt out...

just glad I didn't relocate to CA... it's wasn't even tempting then and grateful....

I have family out there somewhere ...Laguna hills area.

I have family near to Laguna in Newport Beach and that whole area is ok right now.  The problem is the bad air from the fires both north and south hang over California for miles and has even reached Oregon.  Our sky has a dull yellow haze.
