Bad start

Packed up the RV ready to go to the coast for a week.  It's always a job to back it out of the driveway as it's not very wide.  I have to watch the edge of the roof on one side and the big blocks on the other side lining our neighbor's driveway which also drops down a few feet.  I have to direct hubby out.  To make it worse our neighbors had a large bush overgrowing on to our driveway at the very end, so at the last minute the night before hubby trimmed it drastically on our side. 

This morning I was directing him out as usual but the sun was so bright it was blinding us and he couldn't see and kept going too close to the blocks and drop off so he kept going back and forth trying to line it up right, all 35 feet of it.  He finally got it out and ready to hook up my  car to tow and then we saw the damage.  The over hanging bush that he had trimmed was all spikes and and made deep grooves in the paintwork all down the side of our motor home.  We have to hope we can  rub it all out when we get home but it's a big job and he's not a happy camper as he keeps everything immaculate.

There are a lot scratch fillers that perhaps he can buff in.  Good luck.  But for now, put that out of your minds and have a good time!

He bought some rubbing compound today and couldn't resist trying it out and it looks like it might work well.  Also yesterday he couldn't get the Tv's to work.  He must have pulled some wiring when he pulled out the VCR before we left, so that was an exercise in frustration and luckily the maintenance guys at the park came and helped out and got it going. 

The weather is beautiful and we walked the beach and then had a well deserved delicious buffet meal at the Casino close by.
