Oh my - how nerve wracking when you have little ones.  Hope she gets there safely before it lands.

Thanks...really nervous with this storm...hubby will be away so I am gonna hold down the fort alone in this one. As long as I have power and internet...will keep ya posted. We got 3 inches of rain yesterday...add 12 to that?? And for June-July-Aug and already Sept, we are double our average rain. That's why the tree drowned too.

The news was saying not only could this one pack a huge initial punch, but it could stagnate and drop rain for a few days straight...then there are 2 others right behind it...grrrrrrrrrrrr

Mother Nature is making up for a long, hot summer....

Do you have somewhere inland that you can evacuate to?

My problem is that nature preserve / forest behind me.  I'll just have to sleep ( ha ha ah yeah right ) in the front room and not the back bedroom by the trees. No need to evacuate...guess I'll find out.

This is very nerve wracking for you.  I hope you have a close knit community there, sun, that will bind together and watch out for each other until this storm passes.
