no, not think he was a traitor, know he was a traitor. he quite clearly took up arms against the United States.  he led troops of traitors who tried to kill as many US soldiers as possible, and did a damn good job of it.  That is the fucking definition of a traitor.

Lee wasn't even charged with treason. Neither was Obama or Hillary.

a Traitor:  a person who betrays a friend, country, principle, etc

Over 100 years ago people wanted a nation to heal. And it did.
