Raindrops

Actually felt a few today while at the big Saturday market in Salem.  It was a lot cooler as well but next week we are back to the heat again.  Hadn't been there for a while and it seemed as if there were a lot more homeless around the perimeter, also more political groups circulating petitions, etc.  There's a time and place for everything and the Saturday market is for all the fresh produce, arts, crafts and the music.   I did hand out some dollars, though the trouble is you don't know who's a scammer and who's legit.

We had a couple of short downpours and it misted for a while.  I'm hoping the lawns and plants can appreciate it since I won't be able to water till Monday.

They predicted heavy rain yesterday...nadda.  We even had a nuclear bomb looking cloud and got nothing. Another 80% chance today.

We are having cool nights and hot days and I like it like that because your house stays the temperature of the night most of the morning   therefore you don't have to turn your AC on very little rain here and I like that too.

Saturday evening, the skies opened up and we had major downpours.
In fact, landslides on the highway shut down the road leading home.  Still haven't heard if it's reopened.

It was pretty dicey, between the guy stealing an airplane Friday night and Mother Nature letting loose, it's been a busy news weekend.

That airplane hijacking was mind blowing. I thought about you takn, being up in that area.

 I heard about that hijacking in your area too and thought wow what a basket case anyway he didn't land anywhere where anyone could be harmed except for himself sad story

How awful was that...first thing to come inmind is another 9.11 style hit.
