Graduation weekend around here

We like to ride around on Sundays in other neighborhoods. There is a "rich" neighborhood about a half hour away. This morning we passed a car with a teenager who must have slept in her car along the street. She got out of the car as we passed and looked like she was run over by a truck. I guess maybe she lied to her parents and said she was at someone's house but decided to sleep it off in the car.   Then on the other side  of the neighborhood we saw another girl pretty much doing the same thing...how weird is that?

Makes you wonder if they drove inebriated...with the death toll among teens so high, it's never a good idea.

I never had a car as a teen, but my parents had a 15 passenger van, and there were many nights after work that I went out, and got locked out of the house for not being home by midnight.  I slept in the van a lot, even during the winter...my mother kept old Army blankets in the back so at least I didn't freeze to death.  Funny thing though, when my brothers got locked out, they would come tap on my window come unlock the back door...they never reciprocated.

There was a horrible accident with a bunch of teens in a car this weekend in the Bend area.  The driver was 16 with no license.  It's graduation weekend here too.

Every year there is at least one tragic  ten death after graduation. So sad....

Don't worry about the illegal drinking age here... Hell... Marijuana is the way to go so try and stay off the roads... What the issue is..
