Always love walking to the duck pond and this time of year especially.  Momma duckling actually has 13 of them and they move away so fast.  There are a couple of them hidden in the greenery scrambling to catch up.

It really is tranquil  and they stay close to Mama.  What bothers me is the mean old crow that hovers around.  They steal a duckling if they can, so I am hoping the little ones grow big fast.

So cute!!! We have a couple ponds near the mall and Momma duck had a string of yellow fluffy ducklings following her last week. And no camera. But the sweetest thing I saw this morning was a bird showing 5 little ones how to fly. It was like they were in class.
