My annual checkup at the eye doctor today lasted Over two hours with different tests and of course dilation.  Glad daughter was with me to chat, have coffee in between tests and drive me until my eyes focused properly.  Bottom line is another laser surgery to reduce eye pressure.

I had my eye check up last week and had to drive myself home. I could barely see for a good 6-7 hours. No cataracts or other problems...just half blind.

I was the same way for about 6 hours but daughter and I had Kohls cash about to expire so couldn't let being half blind stop that shopping spree!

I have never had eye issues, until last year...I have so much paperwork and computer work, at work, that I was finding I could no longer read the tiny, tiny print...so I got a pair of those pharmacy readers.  But now, I have to press in closer to see, so I will have to increase the diopter, and when I remove them, it takes a minute to refocus.  I hate getting old!

I wore contacts for years.  I started with glasses at 16 but hated them and was careless with them.  Contacts were my life saver.  I have high eye pressure so to prevent the onset of glaucoma I need regular checkups and eye drops.
