Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

And why Joe Lieberman was run out of the Democrat party. Fascism, Communism, Socialism,Liberalism, Progressivism are all just different styles of large central government controlled societies. The only difference is the degree of overt oppression of opposing view points.

Doubtless there is something fascist education cannot stifle, and which does not need to be taught – the class instinct. No amount of propaganda will ever prevent the young worker from feeling he is exploited. Pietro Nenni, while far from claiming that the Black Shirt youth has already succeeded in freeing itself from the fascist grip, states that in Italy “many young people are socialists without knowing it and without wanting to be.” Il Maglio, the weekly paper of the fascist unionists of Turin, complains that among the youth there is a certain lack of understanding of fascist “unionism”:

No, rancid orange, nothing was said about "fascist education," even though you want to try to grab that edge of 87's post to ply that nonsense.

87 said that the educational system does not -- or did not in the past, I'd say -- bring political science into the teaching of History and Social Studies because he seems to feel and believe that corporations have to some degree prevented some concepts regarding fascism from being put into the text books because it would be against their interests to have children being taught this and growing up knowing the score about corporations.

But let me just quote him: "I think there's a reason they don't teach any political science in the so-called History, Social Studies, whatever.  I mean, corporate executives have prevented the books and teachers from telling us that the Fascists we fought World War II against, were the politicians who trashed their democracies by selling the concept that government would be so much better if it was run by corporations."

Also no amount of propaganda may "prevent the young worker from feeling he is exploited," but enough propaganda along with focusing the anger and the discontent of workers in general and their feelings of exploitation will certainly turn ordinary people into the kind of Tea-Party extremists we're seeing now -- who were created to get the Republican Fascists back into power.

And fascist unionism?

That doesn't compute either.  Unions and unionism are another concept the Right-Wing likes to connect to socialism -- unless like you now want to twist it, turn it and paint is as linked to fascism.

Fascism and Socialism are almost polar opposites and your whole word-an-meaning-twisting pretzelization of concepts is just an attempt to connect all bad things to your opposition -- when in fact the Right-Wing is and has been the fascist side of the coin.

I clicked to post my bit about party discipline, and saw there were seven replies. My policy is to just go for it, then deal with the replies.

My additional thoughts on this torrent were --

* Hey Agent .99, Frank Zappa says "Stop! You'll hurt your throat!"

* It's fun to poke a hornet's nest -- with a bolt hurled through a communications satellite.

Maybe not so much a hornet's nest as a hill of orange (??) ants, all marked with the same serial number.

Seriously 99, those quotes are interesting. Either you are very familiar with Italian politics, or you managed to Google, gargle, and edit a bunch of stuff in a big hurry.

I believe those are accurate quotes in some fashion, but some of them seem anachronistic (black shirts?) and if you will please link the source pages, I can read the context and understand properly.

Back to party discipline for a second -- the TP movement does not have it. The GOP will tolerate and exploit TP as long as it is useful but when and where TP runs afoul of the program, TP will find themselves discarded, or assimilated, we'll see.

When TP has been flushed down the memory hole, it will be interesting to compare what Beck and Limbo say then, to what corporations were paying them to say in 2010.

Corporations? The unions run the dismal public education in this country. Are you deaf, dumb and blind, 13?

And there's another classy comment from a Right-Winger so that we know how justified Right-Wingers are in bringing up how classy others are when they cut loose with a few well-chosen words from frustration with the never-ending crock of excrement you RWFs ply on a constant basis.

I think it is the other way around 87. The Tea Party will use the GOP as long as it is convenient.

No.  But you must be.

And for want of a decent rational argument, you always leap right to the ad hominems, like a typical Right-Winger:  If it isn't a woman's monthly cycle that you go after ridiculing, it's her intelligence.

But again this is only because you have no cogent or salient arguments to present.

Oh, and now on the "debate" here, I see we've even further moved away from the topic of this post and are on teachers unions.

See, maybe teachers are unionized now, but they weren't when I was a kid.

And, yes, teachers do have some amount of say over what the kids learn in school, but someone else writes and publishes the textbooks and maybe it's good for balance that if the information in the texts is manipulated by corporate fascists -- and I myself am not sure that this is true -- and maybe it wasn't it the past and is now -- maybe for balance it's good that the teachers weigh out in the opposite direction from the writers and publishers of the textbooks.

Here is who you plagiarized. Did you even know? Just what appeared first when you googled something?

"Daniel Guérin (19 May 1904, Paris – 14 April 1988) was a French libertarian and author, best known for his work Anarchism: From Theory to Practice, as well as his collection No Gods No Masters: An Anthology of Anarchism in which he collected writings on the idea and movement it inspired, from the first writings of Max Stirner in the mid-19th century through the first half of the 20th century. He is also known for his opposition to Nazism, fascism, Stalinism and colonialism, in addition to his support for the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT) during the Spanish Civil War, and his revolutionary defence of free love and homosexuality (he was bisexual)."

"In 1959, by publishing Youth of Libertarian Socialism he began his involvement with Anarchism. Guérin belonged to several Anarchist-Communist organizations: the ORA (Anarchist Revolutionary Organization), from 1971 to 1977, the UTCL (Union of the Libertarian Communist Workers), from 1979 to his death in 1988 (in 1991, the UTCL became Alternative libertaire).
Additional credits include his participation in the May 1968 riots in Paris, as well as his calls for Algerian independence from France. Guérin's writings were prolific in France, but English translations are rare. Guérin was the subject of the French film Daniel Guérin, Combats Dans le Siècle (1904-1988), made by Patrice Spadoni and Laurent Mulheisen."

Good catch, Amazed.

I felt sure the rancid orange was quoting someone -- without giving them credit -- but didn't know who and didn't have the time to check.

Thanks.
