I did not hit    anything but the flu hiot me hard...I've been sick since Sunday...fever won't go down.

Okay, I get it now...I saw the spring and the corner, and I thought that might be a fireplace flue...LOL

feel better soon...sip chicken broth and enjoy some popsicles to bring the fever down.

I don't have  either one in the house, taken and if that's not enough to have the flu, they're shutting our power off tomorrow and not given us a time or for how long. Sucks. Going to be mid to upper 20's and windy in the am.

Hope you feel better Sunny!! I know it’s not like you to be under the weather, almost never!! from what i’ve read. In fact i thought you were joking.
Same here about not getting sick, knock on wood. Except i’ve caught 2 or 3 colds over quite a few yrs and did catch the flu really bad in 2003. Stayed in bed for 2 days straight and was weak for a week. Thank God not since. Hope you’re over the worst of it!!!

When the kids left I came down with a raging sore throat, started sneezing my head off and have been up coughing for the past few nights.  They came with the "sniffles" but I suspect it was a little more than that.  They would feel so bad if they knew so I have kept quiet about it.  It's everywhere anyway and they are doing good now which is a relief.  I've been taking long naps which is rare for me but it sure feels good and thankfully this bug is on the wane.

 The last time I had the flu was 1991. I still have a fever today...just won't let up. I have so much I want to do but staying in bed all day and night is not so bad. lol

We have several people at work now nicknamed Typhoid Mary...LOL  There is one gal who I swear must have TB, she's been hacking up a lung for days and has now been banned from working inside the tube till she's better.  She won't take time off and of course, the company can't force her.
