nobody wants to take away your guns, or your bibles.  but we want to limit who can have guns, no assault weapons and high capacity clips, universal background checks, no gun in public without a special license, and no forced prayers or religious displays on public property.  if you can't live with that move to another country.  that is the way it is here.  and omiaqt is a moron concerning existing gun laws in chicago....the last common sense gun law peculiar to chicago was overturned in 2014...since then murders have began to climb.  which only proves the point.  chicago is not the highest gun murder per 100,000 rate anyway.  most of those are in the south.  republican states.  goofus.

An "Assault" weapon is anything you claim causes assaults. Take one away and replace it with another.

no one with any national import says guns are unconstitutional.  private gun ownership is not a part of the Second Amendment, obviously, but guns are not banned by any constitutional law, and neither are sofas or dining room chairs.  the constitution did not even try to specify every possible item that is legal to own, they left that to the people and their representatives.  the second amendment was about what rights you had if you were in a well armed militia.  and who the hell has ever tried to take awayyour bible?  how paranoid are you little boys?
