A week after his chief of staff ordered an overhaul of the process for granting White House security clearances, President Donald Trump on Friday blamed an overly rigorous background vetting process for holding up the approval of his son-in-law’s permanent security clearance.

“It’s a broken system and it shouldn’t take this long,” said Trump during a joint news conference at the White House with visiting Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

Its been a year and a half since Nov of '17.  Obama's people were cleared almost immediately.  Yeah, its either broken or there is a secret society working under the rug.  I'd like to know why you Democrats are putting up with it?  Maybe because its in your favor you don't mind the corruption then.

somebody still complaining about trump's own picks in charge of these agencies not getting the job done, or, in this case, not being able to clear people with so many ties to goddamn russians and banks doing business with russians and with other obvious security problems that will not ALLOW them to be give top security clearances BECAUSE THEY ARE SECURITY RISKS!!!  The vetting has been done, they have made a decision- Kushner and others were too scuzzy to be given top secret clearances.
