Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength

« on: 02 17, 18, 05:07:56:PM » Reply

The carpeting of our motorhome is finally finished and hubby says he has a whole new respect for carpet layers.  It feels lovely to walk on and has a nice thick foam underlay.  There were a few tricky places like the engine cover, the tiny bathroom with step around toilet, under the slide-out and the narrow sides around the Queen size bed, but it all looks so nice.  He'll be on edge now when we are at the beach or up in the woods and we'll have to get rugs to stop it getting dirty.  I said 'what about doing our house now' and you should have seen the look I got.

The bed lifts up for storage and he even carpeted under there too.

Yes luv, there's a nice shower and bathroom.  We have a propane furnace and water heater and a generator that works everything when there is no electricity available.  We have big holding tank for water.  When there are no hook ups we are self sufficient and just roll up the antenna on the roof to get TV in the area.  We planned to full time RV at one time but only got as far as all the western States.

That’s a phenomenal job your carpet man called super hubby did, Emily! What always seems so painful when watching carpet being installed is seeing that knee banging/carpet stretching part. Hope he didn’t have to do that. For carpet near shower area, waterproof bath mats?

Yes Pacifica his knees are hurting right now.  The shower and bathroom area like the kitchen has wood flooring with mats.

Our trailer had either propane or AC electric capabilities and had battery power.  If we were "boondocking", that is without any electricity available, everything ran off propane.  We had a 30 amp hookup as well too.  We took our small generator when we boondocked to run things like our coffeemaker, or AC which could not be run off propane and would drain the batteries too quickly (AC couldn't be run at all off batteries.

Luv, all modern trailers, RVs, have shower and tub capabilities...we lived in our trailer for about a month straight while waiting for our house to be turned over to us.  It was very cozy and had all the amenities of home.

An RV, like emily has, also has the advantage of being your ride...and can pull a vehicle behind it...very nice.

Thank you, he's  very pleased with himself.  He always loves to have a project.  I'm wondering what's next now.

Now that my wall is done..what is next for me? I can't sit and do nothing.  I know I still have to mulch but that can wait. I removed all the ugly mulch and it's mostly down to dirt now.
