I saw some lighting like this recently on hgtv, one of those shows... might have been Propery Brothers or lottery dream house. I probably wouldn’t mind it in a minimal setting. Could clash with other decor. On the other hand could look good in right place. I’m lately in to less around the better

They used to call them "Sputnik" lamps.  I like the Edison bulbs, but not a fan of the design...I am more traditional, that is ultra modern, sleek.

It depends where you're going to hang it and the surrounding decor.  It looks contemporary and I would like it in a kind of modern setting.
