Knitting

I can make one of these a night if I start early.  They are great to pull on when it's a cold and windy day.

I wish I would have kept up with knitting and crocheting. I know I can still do it, I just need a refresher course.

I made the above and sent them to my sister-in-law who has just lost all of her hair due to chemo.  That's what started me up knitting again.  I made another one last night.  The pattern is really easy and if you want I can post it here for you, sun.

I am all thumbs when it comes to knitting and crochet.  My mother tried in vain to teach me...she made the most wonderful "healing blankets"...

Those are so cute and the yarns available today are incredible!

I smacked it on the edge of  granite countertop so bad that the fingernail splits when it grows out...I did it 3 years ago. It makes doing arts or crafts difficult. It only hurts now if I over do it.

I have a fingernail like that - I can never grow it after I tore my nail in the garden.  I think it's growing and then it splits.  Luckily it's not my right or index finger, but with all the clumsy accidents I have had I am beginning to think I have witches' hands.
