I'm done!!! Whew...worked in the yard several hours today making it neat...leaves, tree seeds, removing old ugly loose mulch, putting out Preen to prevent weeds, blew all the construction dust away ( house going up next door), picked up their nails from my lawn and pulled out a couple trellises that were froze solid in the ground and then tried to plant 4 blocks but nope.. rock hard dirt. I just did not want to waste an almost 60 degree  gorgeous winter day.

That's a lot!  I would leave a note on the job shack anonymously of course, asking the site supervisor to request all trades thoroughly clean up debris and potential nail and staple hazards, and I would leave a bag of trash for them every time I had to clean up...

We had a nice day this past week.  It got up to 60+ degrees and I got outside and cut back tons of dead stuff.   As it rained a lot the days beforehand I was able to pull out weeds and plants I needed to get rid off.  The ground was soft.  There were tons of forget me nots popping up all over and I thought I had got rid of all of them last year.

They don't speak English, I tried talking to one of the crews. Besides, when a house goes up, they post a paper on the window in Spanish the rules of cleaning up....they don't so I suspect I will also be going into the woods picking up lunch and grocery bags. There's a house down the street with bags stuck up about 40 feet in some trees.
