Woke up to 61?!! Pretty good!....wow, roller coaster for your weekend yes.

I woke to 49 now, high of 76 today....81 by Sat.

But had two rain days earlier this week. Much needed as has been bone dry. Too bad about the mud slides from the devastated from fire areas

Yep...got up to 63 at 5 am. It's so ugly humid that it takes less than a minute for your clothes to feel wet. I can't see out the windows either.

I've seen photos of the mudslide...horrors...devastating.

Right now it's 49 degrees and the rain has finally stopped.  Yesterday it poured with rain all day and I had to go to the markeT for a ton of stuff.  Needless to say there were no close parking lots and only box boy on and it wasn't on my line.  I got soaked just from the store to the.car.  It wasn't cold though.  Rain has stopped this morning.

The mudslides were so bad that 101 Pacific Coast Highway the main artery was blocked indefinitely.   Our grandkids had gone up to Cambria for the weekend and came home just a couple  of hours before it happened.  They would have been stuck for ages.  I see that they are now running a boat for commuters who need to go back and forth as there is no other way around.  It's such a horrible mess.

Sounds really bad...I feel for them.

I'm waiting to see if we end up with a thunderstorm out of this...up to 66 now. It's that humid.

We have about 40 degrees high winds and rain, rain, rain...

Those mudslides are very reminiscent of the huge Oso landslide here in WA in 2014...such devastation and loss of life.

Stay safe and warm sunshine.
