The rifles listed have all been used for hunting going on 65 years.   Even Sears used to sell them.

I don't see the M1 Carbine listed , it was used in Korea also. Smaller lighter and much easier to shoot.

An M1 Garand can hold an 8 Round clip and is famous for giving a Person an  M1 Thumb.  If you ever got one, an M1 thumb you will never forget.

The Clinton administration blocked sales of M1s and other U.S. antiquated military rifles from the Philippines, Turkey and Pakistan. It also ended the practice of reselling used guns owned by federal agencies, ordering that they be melted down instead.

In contrast, 200,000 M1 rifles from South Korea were allowed to be sold in the U.S. under the Reagan administration in 1987.

Reagan went by the Constitution.
