  I just returned from an evening of lawn service --
One of the young fellas we hire is going to college for State trooper. We stopped at a bar for dinner after work and we were waiting for our order to come .We were asking the young guy if he knew about the Flying Tigers ?
 
Nope-- He knew little of WW-II  and less of the rest of history in this century.. Amazing that I and My Biz partner could recite the names of the battles and commanders of the War In the pacific and Europe And this kid Knew nothing at all !!!!!!
 
  I Hope we can educate our young to know the sacrifices our fathers made that we live free!

Do you really want to get into a longer discussion of this, TT?

Because I'm not sure I have the strength or patience to sustain a long discussion about what you originally posted and then your response to mine.

First, you say nobody in their right mind wants to see wars break out and yet the war mongers in here want to see it break out against Iran, and pushed for it to break out against Afghanistan and Iraq.

So you must be right about that, because those who did and do want to see it break out are NOT in their right minds, and we have proof right here on this board.

Also, when Germany went under with the Nazis they did something dying plants and bacteria do, they set their spores, the little dried and preserved seeds of their reawakening and renewal.

Certain people -- mostly wealthy families who were on-board with the Nazi ideas and "ideals" -- such as they were -- were either those spores or the carriers of those spores and the achingly tragic thing for the world is that the US is so much bigger than Germany, and so much more powerful that if those reanimated spores are allowed to to rise to power again, the entire world will be under fascist control and nobody will ever be or live or breath free again.

If Iran is to be the next we must wait until aquire nuclear weapons, and delivery systems.  Then when they attack us, with 100,000 plus casualties, we will be in our moral right to lodge a complaint with the UN.

Like didnt we learn anything from WWII and Pearl Harbor?

13, without total governmental control of every aspect of life in Germany already being established under Socialism, Hitler never would have been able to take control!

Germany never would have been able to invade Poland if the allies has stood up to Hitler the moment he he was found in violation of the Versailles treaty!

Sadly, they appeased just as Obama is appeasing today and the world paid a very bloody butchers bill because of it!
