Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength

As it turns out we left in the nick of time as the winds whipped up and the fires broke out and at one point Interstate 5 had a portion closed down.  Very concerned about our daughter as they are up on the hillside and it's very hot and windy.  They lost power this afternoon and she is worried that the fires will travel.  We had a lovely busy visit but two weeks is  a long time to be away from home and the comforts we enjoy at a slower pace - like naps, lol!  It is such a long drive, 1,000 miles in two days.  Hannah is exhausted too. We stayed at a very nice Holiday Inn Express halfway on the way back.  They allow dogs and we were all settled in when we realized there was no heat, just a fan blowing cold air and it was freezing.  We called the front desk and they said they would send a guy to fix it.  We waited forever and then there was a bang on our door.  Hannah barked and when we opened it there was nobody there.  I called the front desk and she said the guy they sent was scared of dogs (one bark!) and he wouldn't do it.  They offered to move us or supply us with extra blankets, so we opted for the blankets.  When we  checked out they reduced our bill by half.  It pays to suffer, lol!

Ouch, it's so frustrating when we pay for service we don't get.

Glad you made it home, I can't believe the fires are still raging in California!

Prayers to your daughter and family that they are kept safe.

Thanks takn.  Our daughter is always nervous when these Santa Ana winds whip up.  They were evacuated during the Grand Prix fire years ago and the house was saved as our son in law brought a big water truck around the bridle trail.  It was at his business and it did the job but burned in the process.  I spoke to her this morning and there's high winds again predicted for tonight and tomorrow. Praying they are ok.
