Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

Another 350+ miles to go.  At least it's not pouring with rain as it was all day yesterday.  Starting to warm a little.  Daughter said 90 degrees on Thursday there.  Oh wow, I packed a bunch if sweaters.  Hannah enjoyed the biscuit bones courtesy of Best Western last night.

How about ham, or roast?  For years it was pizza at our house because hubby was hunting and Things 1&2 preferred pizza and game night.

Hope you had an uneventful trip Emily.
We only spent about 10 minutes in the TSA line and the airport was packed!  We were picked for pre-check again so it was Heavenly! But now we wait.

Be safe Emily and have a happy holiday.

350 miles..

Whew!

That's rough...hope you got a tv to watch for the road.

Got one that you can plug into the cigarette light once the charge goes down...
My caravan has a dvd/CD/cassette players...

I stop and try to listen to the news  when I take a rest.

Once I was driving cross country and the highway sniper was taking pot shots on
I-10 and I was not aware...

Driving down the road in a tornado is no fun either...trust that...

Just saying...

And snacks are a given in case of a emergency and police can't get to you
Before you begin to starve...snow is something..
thank goodness for bottled water..

And flannel blankets too...

Have to use every tool to be safe...

Cellphones are the bomb as long as you have a charger.

Altogether it was a two day trip of 980 miles total.  It rained from Oregon to just north of Sacramento in California.  The second day was pretty good until we went up the grapevine and into Los Angeles county and the freeway turned into a parking lot and from that point it was just inching along for miles and hours.  We were so exhausted when we finally got to daughter's house.  Hannah was such a good dog and travels so well.  Most Best Western and Holiday Inn Express hotels allow dogs and even provide dog biscuits so Hannah was a happy camper.  We also adapted our minivan so she has a very protective section to travel in.  We don't trust taking our motorhome on that long of a trip anymore as it's getting old, it only does about 7 miles to the gallon in gas and there is nowhere to park it close to our daughter's.  We have a nice suite there and Hannah has her doggie friends to play with.  It's all good now and looking to turkey day and big family party on Saturday.
