All of the blue states in this picture gave a smaller population than one county LA county in red, that's why we have the electoral college.

No Benedict Upyrz, that is NOT why we have the electoral college.  Perhaps you should read the documents by the founders as to why we have the electoral college.  I do not particularly agree with there reasons, but you didn't even come close to what they actually were/are.

We do, however, understand why you MAWA Benedicts want the electoral college.  It enables you to give a small handful of MAWA Benedicts to have power over the majority of Americans.

Even if you MAWA Benedicts do run them Jim, they still would never be able to be as bad as the choice that you MAWA's made through Russian interference, vote rigging and character assassination.  I am sure that you could pull all that off again for either of them.

The USA is a Representative Republic. We elect representatives to draft our Laws and run our Govt.

Our National Leadership is elected based on the number of Representatives we have chosen in each State.

THAT is the Electoral College.

If the USA was an actual Democracy, we would elect our National Leadership by a simple majority of the Popular Vote.

But, we're NOT!
