That's all I can say this morning...

The cost of dental...wow!

Big dent in my budget...and the cause of delaying my trip to Memphis....but now the cost of heating.

Well...double wow....

Talk about being in between a rock and a hard place...I  tell ya....

Anyway lots to do before I make that trip...lots...

If it's a crown you're needing, like I had last year, it's a $2,000+ bill after the Xrays etc.  Even dental insurance is expensive and doesn't provide a lot of relief.  It's a gamble!  When it comes to medical insurance and keeping yourself in good shape, dental, hearing and eye sight are generally not covered.  It's nice to be in good physical shape but blind, deaf and toothless.  Or you can be insurance broke!

You should move to Seattle.  They have annual clinics that provide free medical and dental care to hundreds.

In fact, being you're a vet, there are probably like clinics in your area.

Our younger son is having more dental work done to fix the "temporary" buildups that were done when, at age 12 or 13, he was pushed into a fence railing during gym class (according to witnesses he was pushed by the school bully, but the school says their "investigation" said he just tripped), and had his two front teeth nearly pushed through his lips and into his sinus cavity.  Extensive work to heal the trauma and then build up what was left of the teeth...now, at age 24, he's having more work done to put in "permanent veneers", which we hope will not be an issue further down the road.

I have Humana dental insurance and if I had to pay full price I'd have to sell a kidney or something...

It's just so hard to save for something and have to give it up in one pop....

So far there goes Memphis washer and dryer....something that I really need...I can use a  hot plate and bought mini fridge...but to do laundry is costly there...

Got to get out of Hellsville before the cost of heating catch up with me...have the credit balance but it Maybe gone by next payments due date...the next one will have to be paid in installments...

Not sacrificing my teeth or smile for anything....

So I guess it goes down to priority now....

Oh...tried the VA and they can't help so they said...

Just have to do the best I can do somehow....

Check the links I provided, not the VA.  There are several non-profits that help vets because they know the VA is not doing its job.

There's very few clinics even for vets here in Youngstown I tried Aspen first because they had a coupon with x amount of percentage off but they didn't take my insurance so this is the time of year where insurances can be changed I will soon as my teeth are completed and I believe that Blue Cross Blue Shield now has dental insurance you still have to pay no matter what but this is hard ....you know to have to give up so much and one time...if I  didn't have anything else to do with the money I'd be okay...

I'm not ok with this....
