Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

We're still waging the battle of getting entry awnings built.  Because our house is rated "mobile home", the permitting regs are unbelievable.  We went from trying to navigate the permits and get something "attach built", to trying to get free standing structures built, to now trying to get simple "awnings" done.

None of our dimenstions fit the prefab styles, so now I'm searching for someone who does customs...and talk about frustrating me doubly!

All I want is something to keep the rain off the doors...ugh...

This is what I envision...

Go on eBay and see what they have that you can make your own awning...

Purchased a good set of wrought iron inserts but ended up but a wrought iron door instead...

Now I have to figure out what to use them for or sell

Not quite that easy.  We have to be able to fabricate rain gutter and attach the brackets to the poly without destroying it.

We'll eventually find something, but everything that's been suggested so far is pretty redneck and I'm not willing to make my house look like the typical cobbed together "mo-bile"  home.

A friend suggested a company out of England, since apparently door canopies are quite popular overseas, but the shipping is prohibitive.

Isn't a mobile home something on wheels that can be moved from place to place?  If that's the case you shouldn't have to property taxes on it....just the land.  BTW it's not just the shipping from overseas that is expensive, it's the customs duty that might be levied.

All manufactured homes are rated "mobile" because the axles remain under them.  There are no wheels, and it's affixed with jacks and a wrap around foundation.
The stickler is that once you do that, it's considered permanent, so you have to pay taxes for an improved structure.  But it's still rated mobile, so we can't permanently attach anything without special permitting...

I've contacted 4 "recommended" carpenters today...from Porch and Home Advisor.

One says we're outside their service area
One says he's booked solid through the end of the year
Two haven't responded

There was one guy yesterday, who's bio says "no job too small"...when I told him what I wanted, he said he was busy so it wouldn't be "worth the time" to come all the way out for such a small job...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have a carpenter in the family, my oldest brother restores historic homes, even helped build a castle once...but he's in Arkansas and can't travel this way till at least next summer, if his schedule isn't booked solid...

Yeah...but will the rain wait...Huh?

Temp fix...maybe?

they have aluminum awning that are cute and love the sound of rain from them...fairly inexpensive...some are...

Do it yourself...

I looked at your pic again and if you can get the parts like wrought iron...

You can take it to a welder in town and install it yourself.

Just a suggestion....

He doesn't have a welder...that is a whole nuther animal...that I'm sure he'd love, but will have to plan for later.

No, the rain won't stop.  In fact, it's been pouring for 2 days...oh well, it will happen, one way or another.
