I have been using firefox browser and lately it has been freezing and locking up, anyone else have this problem?

Not really.  Sometimes, my old computer slows down somewhat, but that could be for a variety of reasons.. 

I use Comodo's co-branded version of Firefox called Ice Dragon.  For all intents and purposes, it really behaves like Firefox but with some enhanced bells and whistles.

They also have a co-branded version of Chrome.

Take a look at it.  I'm satisfied.

Try if this change can workaround the performance problem?: go to the

firefox menu ≡ >

options >

privacy & security panel >

under permissions check the setting to "prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser."

That worked for me!
