6 days in mid 80's for us and then it's my kind of weather.

We finally started getting rain and I have been in heaven and praying it makes it over the mountains and deluges Idaho and Montana. We know some of the mountains are also getting snow so I'm thankful for that.

The hubby has one more car show this weekend, so I hope it's sunny on Sunday.

Tis the season for cool down, but also, it's Indian summer, so one last hurrah to help our farmers get the crops in from the fields.

We're still not done with heat.  The rain was a welcome relief for the fires that surround us, but we have some 80 degree days coming up.  Our air conditioning has been running all summer and the monthly electric bills have been bigger this year than ever.

We're having cool night so I open up the windows and the temperatures at night keeps the house in the daytime cooler...


Haven't been up in the attic all summer...
Inferno I bet...

Due the electric bill this week and hope is all I say but wait...i have a credit on that account cause I knew it maybe higher this month...

This budgeting is hard...

Decided to make the trip to Memphis in December instead of November...

Although my niece is getting married in
Dallas in November...its taking a lot of thought...it maybe better to send a cash present...
