Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

And always lovely.
I am struggling just keeping enough watered to prevent too much die-back this Fall.  No rain since June 21st is taking its toll.

These zinnias grew behind the fence in the empty lot next door....a heavy rain washed them down there.

Your garden is lovely sun.  We have no rain in sight and have been going on weeks without rain.  It's so out of character for Oregon.  I flew home yesterday from California and it was so hot down there.  My friend in Palm Springs said it was 116 degrees and I was in the San Gabriel Valley where the temp hit over 100 every day.  One day it was 108 degrees and the air conditioning goes off the grid some days when it was overloaded.  It goes off for about 2 hours - some plan they have with So. Calif. Edison to save energy and usually it's in the evening so the upstairs gets quite uncomfortable.

Pacifica, that sounds more like the desert, how far are you from the Inland Empire?  How lucky you have a pool to cool off in.  We had one when we lived in Granada  Hills but it never got that high back then.  We really enjoyed it.

The valley S. of mt. Wilson scorching hot today!! Typically San Fernando valley (NW from here),
& Inland (E) gets slightly hotter but not always lol. Sheesh. Felt like Palms Springs all over but with monsoonal moisture. Luckily no thunder/lightning here but was scattered all around the southland today.  Guess we can't complain considering ((Houston)) etc. Trust Hannah had her nose pressed against/near the window waiting for you

It's Sept 1st!! August went out with bluster.
