Re checked it's a 1914 Indian head nickel it's not worth $650 I thought it was 19 49 I'm going to clean it to be sure I have figured out how to do that

Cannot see everything on the coin clearly right now I have it in a container of stainless steel cleaner.

I can tell that it does have that block before the 4 on it so  it's worth something it's just so dirty can't hardly see it so it won't be much.

 but hey if you get $5 for a nickel I'm happy

I always check my loose coins.  I save them in cans, divided.  When they get full I cash them in but always check on the old ones.  I had an older quarter last year that I got $40 for.  We have a gold, silver and coin merchant store in the small town adjacent to ours.

Don't use stainless steel cleaner on it!  You can ruin the patina.

It's better to use a baking soda paste or simply soap and water, till you know what you've got.

And don't believe someone telling you it's only worth 5 cents. Have it checked out by a reputable dealer.
