The reason the Left is pushing this 'White Supremacist'
mantra is against the Right is because they are sooo

EPA Surrenders to NRA on Gun Control IssueEPA rejects attempt to regulate lead in bullets after NRA protests

In a swift and unexpected decision, the Environmental Protection Agency today rejected a petition from environmental groups to ban the use of lead in bullets and shotgun shells, claiming it doesn't have jurisdiction to weigh on the controversial Second Amendment issue. The decision came just hours after the Drudge Report posted stories from Washington Whispers and the Weekly Standard about how gun groups were fighting the lead bullet ban.

The EPA had planned to solicit public responses to the petition for two months, but this afternoon issued a statement rejecting a 100-page request from the Center for Biological Diversity, the American Bird Conservancy, and three other groups for a ban on lead bullets, shot, and fishing sinkers. The agency is still considering what to do about sinkers.

The decision was a huge victory for the National Rifle Association

I THOUGHT THE BAN ON LEAD SINKERS OF CERTAIN WEIGHT WAS ALREADY IN EFFECT IN NY AND A LOT OF BAIT/TACKLE STORES HAD ALREADY GONE OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE OF IT. WHILE OTHER PEOPLE GO TO OTHER STATES TO BUY THEIR SINKERS! WONDER IF THIS CAN IMPACT THE STATE LAW? HELLO ARIZONA!!!!!!!

Yeah, half the fun of hunting is to wound an animal and then let it spend a couple of months in agony, dying of lead poisoning.  It will be sick and waste away because it cannot  keep anyting on it's stomach.  But the agony will continue, after a time gangreen will set in and  it won't be able to sleep because of he pain.  This will only last a week or so though.  Breasuse of the stench of the infection will bring coyotes and other critters which will constanty harass it until at last it just gives up, and something kills it.  Probably better than laying in pain crying all night, every night.  But lead is a little cheaper. Fuching barbarians.

Frances I am an avid hunter and outdoorsman, it would be to your benefit not to get into debates you have no idea what you're talking about, as with most liberals your head is so far up your ass you haven't got a clue what REAL HUNTERS do so STFU

Yeaa there is a NY ban on lead shot  for waterfowl and lead sinkers

I get the feeling francoo dosent like hunting

On the  other side -- The NON lead shot replacement is More deadly than Lead -It woulds many birds and they get away to die - !

NON lead rifle ammo has come a long way -Now its as accurate --Holds its weight on impact and is longer for caliber than lead ammo allowing for deeper penetration.  Biggest down side is cost --But well to do hunters are already using No lead rifle ammo from Barnze bullets.

Ya dont like hunting do you ---and you support legislation making it difficult to engage in hunting --Dont Ya !

And scientist say the lead has no affect on the ecosystem now...

btw, the defeat of this by the NRA was a defeat of obumba, he was the bastard trying to get the EPA to band the lead like the idiots did when they made something we breathe into a dangerous chemical...Carbon Dioxide...tell me that isn't loon city...the EPA has many deaths of innocent people on their heads with their wacko beliefs and policies...and people like franconuts is probably just like them...

Its totally obvious that the -EPA is populated by the  HIPPIES of the 60's grown up looking for a place to work where they can influence The way AMERICA Lives.  Want to bet that 99.9999% of the people working at the EPA are liberal lefties -- On the far left --and If a Repub were to get hired they would be forced out or regulated to Low level positions ..
