The way I understand it, the ACA is about 6 months away from being defunct. So if nothing is done, those citizens currently covered will be without coverage, which I believe the bill was designed to do when originally conceived? Single Payer is where the Democrats want to go, but since they are the minority Party, they will be unable too get there.
