caserio, YOU go volunteer for this insane idea if you want to.  I am NOT doing it.  I don't CARE what - if any - the "pros" are for it; the "cons" outweigh the "pros" by a ZILLION TONS on this idea.  Even completely leaving out the Bible prophecy on the Mark of the Beast, this is a REALLY BAD IDEA.

And if you get yourself implanted, and after that some hacker from Romania or Ukraine or China gets close enough to your chip implant and hacks it, and then hacks into YOUR bank account and YOUR credit cards, then on YOUR head be the consequences of such a STUPID decision.  You won't even KNOW something has happened until the nasty deed is done and the dust has settled, and then you have to do what little damage control you CAN do.

I am an IT professional, and I KNOW how INSECURE most of our computer systems are - and these microchips are no different.

sine-qua-non, they don't understand, and they aren't interested in understanding, either.  Which is one reason I pointed out the dangers of this idea from a SECURITY standpoint - because that is something that MIGHT get them to at least think about it.

1. Most card readers don't read them yet, even at the P.O. ! 

2. They can b read if you don't carry them in a faraday device.
 My wife bought me a wallet that blocks a scanner from reading them
