It was 91 degrees today and we entertained friends for lunch.  It was lucky I planned not to have the oven on and I made the desserts yesterday and used the slow cooker early this morning and made salads.  Another 90 degree day tomorrow.

We had another super dooper hot day that ended with tornado warnings in the area and tons of lightning. It was refreshing for about 10 minutes...then the humidity came back...bugs started biting so in we went.

I wanted so badly to eat outside on our nice new patio set, but it just wouldn't have worked in all that blazing heat................yes and bugs too.

Today is a repeat...got 3/10 of an inch of rain with more storms coming...it's so yucky right now.
