Oregon is legal medical and recreational pot
iowa is neither with little prospect of change
illinois (I live on the iowa/illinois boarder) recently went medical with serious discussion of going recreational...not for socially conscious reasons but for the practical need for tax revenue...Illinois's fiscal problem is so bad it might as well be bankrupt

you need a doctor's recommendation for a medical marijuana card and a driver's license to enter the medical store
I bet restless leg syndrome would qualify for a med card
you just need a driver's license to enter the recreational store

the medical store sells low thc products and it is generally cheaper than the rec stores

both the stores are very regulated by the state
the employees I ran into were pleasant, friendly and professional
the med store especially could guide you on your condition and is probably less on the wild side than the rec store

I should have mentioned that the med store can guide you in getting a card
i'm not totally sure, but I think the med store has the ability to get a card in or near the store

That's really interesting blue, it gives me a whole new attitude about pot but I'll never tell my kids that.  I'm very tempted.  I don't think I would have any problem with my doctor.  He has a pony tail and plays in a rock band, haha.  He is the replacement for our doc who just retired after 30 years.  Only in Oregon!

Yes I looked at a few of those sites and it seems that you would have to smoke it as the brownies or other treats would not work as well.  I have never smoked in my life as I was a chronic asthmatic for the first 17 years and had many trips to the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in London.  I guess I'm going to try the Ropinirole that I was prescribed tonight as I really need a good night's sleep and I'll see how that goes.  I don't take any other medications so there is nothing to conflict with it.

the lotion products could be an option
that is what I used on my ankle and shoulder with positive results
the cannabinoids get absorbed into the skin and into your system

I have not tried the edible products
I never liked "brownies"...too hard on my system
although there may be some (like suckers) that are less hard

talking to someone directly at the medical store (instead of indirect info on the internet) could provide some clarity

I know in Memphis they're going to legalize marijuana in the county that I live ...
to me that might be a good thing considering that it did help my niece who has ms...
I remain on the fence with marijuana but as long as wine helps I'm going to be buying it by the gallon and drinking it by the small glass which is all that's required...
