I won't be posting.  Nature is so cruel.

We were sitting out on the deck yesterday and I heard the usual raucous squawk of the crow that hangs around the garden.  I've actually seen swallows dive bomb him and chase after him in flight.  He was on the peak of the roof of the workshop and he had a bird that he had caught and he was tearing into it.  You could see it was a swallow and I was hoping that it wasn't the momma swallow who's been feeding her baby birds in the birdhouse.  He proudly consumed every part of this bird that he had straddled over the roof and it was as if he was putting on a show for us.  It upset me for a long time as he took everything except a few feathers.  I have seen the babies poke their heads out of the bird house and there's still a swallow feeding them.  I just hope that this crow won't get them before they can fly away with the others.  I feel I have to keep a watch out now.

One little swallow was hogging the opening and looking out last night.

We had a hawk at our last house break a kitten's neck. :-(

That's  so sad.  As I said, nature is so cruel.  A little Yorkie on a doorstep in our neighborhood got carried off by a cougar.

What movie was it said "The dingo ate my baby."  Was it a movie or the Seinfeld?

It was true that a dingo in Australia took a baby girl back in the 80'same and they made a movie about it.  I think Meryl Streep was the star.  I should Bing it!
