I am so lucky to be in the viewing area ( VA/NC )..I got this photo around 4:30....awesome!!!!  If I didn't know better I might of thought we were having an alien invasion. LOL

Sunshine, You recorded history!! LOL I was reading it was like pre 4th of July. Seeing it in person must have been exciting and yes, alien! Seeing those colors in the sky. And not without controversy. Re chemicals. But one comment I read was it's much like fireworks.

I am pretty far away but still int he viewing area...it did not looked like fireworks but all of a sudden, they just appeared in the sky and faded away. But so cool.
