Ready for summer

All week hubby has been sanding, filling and staining the deck.  It looks very nice now and the final addition to our new patio set is the umbrella which we put up yesterday.

Hannah's had a reaction to it like it was an alien from out of space that was going to attack her.  She refused to go out on the deck to get to her 'rest room' area and finally when she could hold it no longer she crept out and looked like a corgi as she slithered by it.  Once she got to her safe place she wouldn't come back in until persuaded with a cookie and then she came like a bolt of lightning before it got her.  Such drama!  I wonder how long it will take for her to get used to it.
