Globalists are furious: Trump will not play along

In the end it was not meant to be. As discussed on Friday, during Trump's first G-7 summit, world leaders including German Chancellor Angela Merkel and new French President Emmanuel Macron, had hoped to persuade the the US president to endorse the Paris Agreement climate pledge to fight global warming. By the end of the summit - held at a luxury hotel in Taormina, Sicily that was once a Dominican monastery and base for the Nazi air force during World War Two - they realized they had failed, as Trump "underscored his determination to break the global mold" by refusing to follow the Group of Seven line not only on global warming but also by resisting measures on trade.

 Sending money to a foreign group is not cleaning the air. Bringing industry back to us and regulating would do far more. You can't clean air of other countries or don't you know that it is all the same air? The chinese stuff you buy is made with dirty air. Grow up and educate yourself. Science does not support this. "Environmental progress will stop", what progress? Sending money to the UN? Lol. I have failed to see ONE progressive idea come out of China to stop manufacturing using any energy source that doesn't cost them more.So much for 'confidants'. Who started the Paris deal? Obama?
