In the garden today

There is a new house for rent that I just put up and I planted my Mother's Day rose.  Took advantage of the nice weather for a change and worked all day in the garden pulling weeds and tidying up.  I can feel it getting warmer so the weekend might be too hot to be out there all day.

Wild horses couldn't persuade Hannah to come outside.  A neighbor is having a new roof put on and she is terrified of the nail gun and banging.  She spent a lot of time under my desk and then hung out on her favorite vantage point and wouldn't budge.  In the end hubby took her for a ride to Marian Estates campus where the retirees love to pet he, it is quiet and relaxing and she loves the attention and can go potty.  If she wasn't so nervous she could be a good therapy dog.  I'm not looking forward to the 4th of July.  I dread it every year!

I don't blame Hannah for staying inside. I had to put up with a new roof  going in a few weeks ago....it is loud when you are in the house.

We'll need a new roof soon but I don't know what I will do with her.  We'll have to take her out for the whole time it takes.

One of my drainpipes was stuffed up so bad from the shingles junk that I had them come back. He could not unclog it and was to com3e back next week. We just had a monster rainfall and everything is flowing nicely.

Still enjoying my other Mother's Day flowers.  The flower arrangement is even lovelier than the day it arrived as the roses have come out.

I did get my hibiscus in the ground this morning, but still have 6 azaleas and 6 rosemary plants to get done.  I should be able to get a lot done this weekend, it's not supposed to rain.  It does mean the housework and laundry suffer, but...well, yeah right...who cares...LOL
