Last night my crew and I were treated to a fantastic dinner to celebrate my 10 years with the company and another crew member's 25 years with the company. The only marred moment was when our manager asked someone from outside our area to please vacate our dedicated break area to allow us the celebration among ourselves.
I swear I have not seen adults act like such children some times. Although the company provides dedicated break areas for each crew, and public cafeterias, this person decided they were "entitled" to our area because it was "company property" and it was "cleaner" than their own area.
She even threatened to take our manager to HR, and he has to be one of the most soft-spoken, congenial people I've ever known, and she was being a real bee-otch. We told our manager if she does complain, there are 40 people who will stand by his side, because she doesn't even work in our area but decided she was entitled. That's one thing about this place (well, one among many), that really chaps my hide...there is not such thing as entitlement as far as I'm concerned...

Sadly it's a familiar breed nowadays.  I hope she embarrassed herself.  Congrats on 10 years loyalty with the company - you go girl!
