Lots of rain

Hubby went out to mow the lawns in the rain because the next nice day may not be till next Wednesday and the grass is already so long (he just mowed on Tuesday), it means he'll have to sweep it up again.  We would like to be able to just mulch, but it's so dang long too quickly for that.

Not only lots of rain but it's really chilly too.  Hubby mowed the lawn on Wednesday because he saw the forecast that it was going to rain from that point on.  Maybe next weekend we'll see some relief.

It was really cold here too...too raw to walk outside.

Is it getting ready for heat wave with no rain in sight I got to get out of here before that happens....

After Monday, we will be up in the low 90's....VA is like a roller coaster in the weather department.

Memphis has extreme summers.

I don't mind the winters being warm but I do mine the summer being extremely hot...

a hundred degrees is not what I'm going to do ever...

I also got another call from the gas company in Ohio telling me about a discount they're offering ...

To late now... I say...50.00 a month is what I paid not 700.00...okay so I put it a house reno... but it gives a return I can see...not something I can barely feel considering that in the winter months I always have to put on extra stocks and gloves to survive the winter.... inside the house.

Today is load  up the Pod and be prepared in the morning to make it to Ohio by 8 o'clock p.m. Monday..

Haha Duke,  George Foreman came to the rescue a few years ago and Oregonians don't have to barbecue in the rain anymore.
